They have significantly helped reduced pet euthanasia in this area by specializing in low-cost spaying and neutering. They also have a training program where they mentor agencies and vets on how to do high-quality, high-volume, reduced-cost spay and neuter programs.
USAToday.com wrote an article about Humane Alliance and there's a neat video on YouTube about a similar clinic that is really interesting to watch. Hope you'll take a minute to check them out!
Well, if you are anything like Jack, you'll be up and around in like 10 minutes. I hope you don't have to wear the cone thingy. Just don't think about it and it won't itch!
ReplyDeleteAre you kidding? The first thing I did when I got home was go to my toy bin and get out my favorite frisbee. When no one would throw THAT, I started dropping tennis balls in everyone's laps, but they wouldn't throw those either! Something about having to be quiet for a few days or something... Thankfully I don't have to wear the "Cone of Shame". My stitches are on the inside and I am glued on the outside! I'm pretty good about leaving it alone. I just want to RUN!!! : P
ReplyDeleteSam was so unfazed by being neutered, I actually picked him up and checked to make sure he had actually been done!

I hope you have a smooth recovery! Ti came running out of the vet's office after his neuter as if he had been at the park! I had to get out his old crate and put him in it just so he'd rest.
