Hot Diggity Dog! The Puppy Tooth Fairy Came!

Hooray for me! The Puppy Tooth Fairy came and left me this neat hot dog toy in exchange for my little tooth! My little girl likes to play with it too and pretends she's eating it! She cracks me up...

Ferocious Vacuum Friday

Ugh. Mom vacuumed today. The noise scares me, so I thought I'd seek refuge in the stuffed chair with my girl. She reassured me that I'd be okay. I wasn't too thrilled, but mom deemed it a Kodak moment nonetheless.

GASP! Look What Mom Found!

It's one of my incisors!

Mom and I were rolling around on the floor wrestling when she peered over and happened to notice my itty bitty tooth next to the leg of the couch! The luck! It's only about the size of a grain of rice! I'm keeping my paws crossed that the Puppy Tooth Fairy will visit tonight! Wish me luck!

Wet Wednesday

My little girl and I got to play outside in our yard today. There was something in my yard that I had never seen before. It was spraying water and made my girl squeal with delight! I decided I'd better get a closer look...

I tried to bite it but just couldn't seem to grab hold of anything!

This is so much fun!

After a bit, I noticed that my girl had abandoned me in the sprinkler for an outdoor bathtub. I decided to get a closer look. I wasn't too sure what to think of it at first, but my girl coaxed me into the water (she TRICKED me! She let me believe for a brief moment I could play with her mermaid doll!).

Mom tried to get a picture of both of us smiling, but I was too interested in watching the moving water (and looking for that mermaid doll!) to pay attention. (Here's another shot of my girl in her PhotoShop disguise! ...tee hee hee! Mom thinks she's pretty funny! I'd have to agree...)

I had fun digging at the water and splashing my girl. I even stuck my nose under water a few times to try to catch shadows and reflections!

Outdoor bathtubs and sprinklers are cool! I can't wait to do this again! Maybe next time I'll have my own mermaid doll!

Too Busy to Pose

Since mom doesn't want me on the furniture, often times she will sit on the floor and cuddle and play games with me. The other night she was trying to get some good pictures of me having fun, but I was too busy playing one of my favorite games: "Play-With-the-Toy-Behind-Mom's-Back"! I like to bat it just out of reach and then squeeze behind her to try to get it, wiggling and clawing all the way.

When mom realized she wasn't going to get any pictures of me playing in front of her, she merely took the camera and aimed for where she thought I was and took the shot! She does all right for not being able to preview the shot, don't you think?

I Graduated!

Hooray for me! I graduated puppy obedience school today!

I can sit, come, lay down, stay, and all kinds of other stuff when asked! I was so excited, it was hard to sit still and have my picture taken with my diploma!

The teacher put this weird thing on my head that I was REALLY not crazy about! Daddy had to help me sit still so mom could get a picture to share with you! I start intermediate classes next month—I'm on my way to being a therapy dog!

The Doctor Will See You Now

The other night I was laying around, just tickling and licking my little girl (I love to make her giggle!), when out of nowhere she decided to get the doctor kit out.

Everything sound okay, Doc? Am I going to make it?

What the heck...? A SHOT?!

Another one?!

Where are you sticking that?!

HEY! How many shots do you think one pup needs?!

WHEW! Doc says I am the picture of good health!

Sweet Baby

Macy at 15 weeks old

It still shocks me to think that we only just met this sweet pup 14 weeks ago when she was only ten days old. The first time I held her she was as big as a guinea pig, and now she's too big to carry! Her physical changes as she's grown up have been astonishing to witness. Every morning my little girl can't wait to feast her eyes on Macy to see what has grown overnight! Her tail and her toes were so little, and now her tail almost touches the floor when she's standing. Macy has been everything and more that I could have hoped for in a pup—she's smart, sweet, and a quick learner. I'm still in awe of her beauty! We are so blessed to have such a great pup! I wish all dogs in the world could be loved as much as we love ours!
